Kevin Steele with the career 9-36 head coaching record at Baylor-1, 3, 3, 3 wins. Did he ever win a Big 12 Game? . Gene Chizak territory

1-31 in the Big 12

If you've been following the Tennessee coaching search fiasco, you know they are in desperation mode. I get the feeling Chad, while he may not be "desperate," he would sell one of his kidneys for a P5 job. While he is not the first choice or even the 5th choice of Tenn, and Tenn is likely not Chad's ideal destination, this looks like it could be a marriage of convenience.

I presume the money will be very good, but CM will get eaten alive in Knoxville. Rebuilding a G5 school will earn him no credit with the Volunteer Navy.

Gundy reportedly turned down a 6-year, $42M deal that Tennessee offered today.

Wow! Tenn is in desperation mode if they are offering Gundy $7 million per year.
I bet they offer Chad a solid $5 mil

I mean if should turn off Chad if Tennessee was offering Jason Witten, right? I would be concern that you wonΓÇÖt be seeing the guy who hired you much longer.

Apparently Tennessee will offer the HC position to anyone who knows that a football isn't round.

Maybe Chad's going "suicide" for Texas A&M-hoping Jumbo falls through after their huge Florida St. v Louisiana Monroe makeup game this weekend-actually might be best for SMU that the other jobs fill up with ADs desperate to get someone in place because of early signing date. By the time A&M can finalize the Jimbo contract the first and second round of Coaching moves could be over. Wait for the late drop though that you aren't expecting
