Am I missing something? This is pathetic. OL is getting their butts kicked and Hicks looks like a middle schooler.

The fact that you associate this with Dykes hiring is far more troubling than this performance.

(1) not sure what you expected when a guy gets hired 10 days before the game
(2) these mistakes are execution mistakes not strategy mistakes

This performance gives Dykes an opportunity to evaluate what he has...at least he knows he has a big job ahead of him because this team is just not very good.

I donΓÇÖt like him on the sidelines already. Why have him coach a game this quickly? Let the interim do it. I mean this is [deleted]. Ben hicks is so awful right now I donΓÇÖt know what to say. ItΓÇÖs embarrassing

This is not on Sonny. Most incoming coaches wouldnΓÇÖt coach a bowl game. This is what happens when you arenΓÇÖt coached and the whole offensive staff leaves. Ben was teaching Sonny the offense this past week.

It doesnΓÇÖt help Ben throws ducks.

Dykes is probably wondering what he's gotten himself into. If I'm him, I would give a lot of the younger guys and backups playing time in the 2nd half to see what they can do. This game is hopelessly out of control
