According to Thursday’s report, the market value for Harvard’s endowment rose 4.3% to $36 billion, the second-lowest percentage increase of any of the 100 largest schools. (Texas Christian University, with a $1.52 billion endowment, posted a market value gain of just 0.4%.)

Still a solid #68 and closed the gap with TCU by $125M. Now just $6M away from overtaking the Frogs. Created $14M or so gap with Bowdoin.

Someone should do the math on endowment per undergrad student. That is really what matters.

I had a break down of 6550 smu undergrads and 9000 tcu undergrads (rounded for both). About $230,000 / undergrad for smu and $170,000 per tcu undergrad. Not to mention smu is $12,000 more a year so hope smu students come out better than that.
