no kickoff luncheon?

Post by JasonB »

Just hit me that there hasn't been an invite sent this year... first time we haven't had the event in how many years? Seems odd...

I imagine they discussed it and Sonny told Hart that he couldnΓÇÖt fill up 30-45 minutes with Chad-like BS and self promotion. He probably then refused RickΓÇÖs offer of unlimited Red Bull as an aid.

On a different subject, very interesting seeing Phil Bennett at practice this morning.

Phil is a good man. Also a good coach, just not a head coach.
Maybe he gets another chance and will trust his O Coord.

Hiatus for a year, then it'll be reimagined, probably a less formal pep rally type event in the IPC.

I think this is a wise idea. Good call.

It is kind of surprising SMU passed up a chance to make some more money though.

Losing money is not good. Maybe winning will help things. Sonny D is working to get SMU balanced.
