We don't want him, we already have a turnover machine at qb.

Get over it. Five AAC quarterbacks threw more interceptions, and if you take away the 2 when receivers quit on routes, it would be 7 who threw more, including Mr. Heisman over at UCF. It's fine if you think there are better options, but stop acting like he's a human jugs machine. He's not great but he's not bad, either.

ItΓÇÖs just an optics thing. It seems that he is very turnover prone because this year about 3/4 of the time it was a defensive score.

Are you watching the same SMU football games as the rest of us ??
Lifeson nailed it......"turnover machine" , indeed......not a very good leader either.
His body language has "give up" written all over it.

They're bad when they end up as touchdowns. We all agree there. Maybe our difference is in fallout vs. frequency. He didn't have a lot, but yes, some were costly. We're seeing the same thing - just different perspective.

The appropriate answer here is "yes, please". There are a ton of QBs who are turnover machines when they are first year starters in college. Then they grow up. The kid was incredible in HS. I definitely want that on campus to fight for a starting position.

Assuming Ben stays next year, then the next season you have Brown and Robinson fighting for the starting spot? I'll take that all day.

For the most recent example, all you had to do was watch the Tulsa game. If we just had average quarterback play in that game, we easily go bowling. Ben has started for 3 years, he is .....what he is.

I'd take this kid in a heartbeat. He'll have to sit out a year which means Hicks will be gone... likely lose a recruit or two if he transfers in but he is much better talent than anything we are recruiting or have on our roster.

I suspect he wants to go P5 though.

Would we even be on his allowed transfer list as a future opponent?

Now that Ben's leaving, why not? Robinson could continue on in the DFW area, for his family's sake.
