Its about 2 decades late-and he should have been in before Koncak-only thing missing tonite was Rick Bullock-one of the great player rivalries in Texas Basketball history-they fought in out back to their senior year in high school at the Texas High School championship.

The people who honored Koncak before both IT and Gene Phillips should still be ashamed.

My time on campus overlapped both. They were great Mustangs on the court and great Mustangs off the court.

Terrell, Krebs, Phillips, Koncak and Kennedy all are very deserving, regardless of the order. There are several others I'd like to see up there: Dodds, Sasser, Moore, Rompola. The order doesn't matter. I just hope they all get their just recognition.

What a wonderful man and ambassador for SMU. I wish the school would find a way to employ him to promote the school to prospective students and encourage alums to get more involved.....
