What about Dirk? Loves Dallas, knows the game. Has lots of friends that would help. Don't think the salary would be too bad as he already has a ton on money.

Interesting that Bryce Drew seemed to be the only one in his family that couldn't buy top recruits.

My first thought is that the idea is wildly impractical and probably wouldn't work.

Since this is exactly the same thing I thought when we hired Larry Brown, I'm all for it.

See Clyde Drexler at UH. Although, UH back then was a very hard place to bring in recruits.
