Big time transfer
Big time bball transfer coming in this weekend. Hopefully we can get him against some serious competition.
Re: Big time transfer
I assume you're talking about Kendric Davis from TCU...

He lists A&M, Houston, Villanova, SMU, ASU, Tennessee & LSU as his options.
Visiting SMU this weekend & LSU next weekend with a visit to A&M also planned per Rothstein.

We need all the help we can get. I am surprised we have not heard who is leaving the team though.

Re: Big time transfer
I've wondered about the roster moves that might be needed for there to be room for all the newcomers. Will Cook end up being a medical? Even with Whitt leaving there has to be one or two guys moving on or not coming in.mustangxc wrote:We need all the help we can get. I am surprised we have not heard who is leaving the team though.

I think a current scholarship player has to be notified by July 1 if his scholarship is not being renewed

Isn't that pretty late in the year for the kid losing a scholarship? June 1 (or even May 1) seems more reasonable.Stallion wrote:I think a current scholarship player has to be notified by July 1 if his scholarship is not being renewed

The 2020-21 Roster is looking very strong--assuming everyone stays around--which is problematic these days.

We are 2 scholarships over our 13 limit.... Bryce Cook and who else will leave?

Re: Big time transfer
What a great addition! If only we had not signed the marginal players we signed in the fall we would not have to worry about opening up roster spots. I would hope those players see the writing on the wall and ask for a release. I am at least optimistic about our future going forward whether it includes Jankovich or not. Solid land and the type of player we have been looking to get for a couple years now!
Re: Big time transfer
Douglas... that’s right.... he really hasn’t developed into a mid major level contributor.
I wish him all the best wherever he lands
