2020 safety commits to SMU

Midland (Lee), Texas safety Karl Taylor (6-1, 180) announced on his Twitter account that he has committed to SMU over offers from Air Force, Army, Houston, Louisiana, North Texas, Tulsa and Utah.

"I would like to thank my Lord and Savior up above first off for putting me in this position and blessing me with the opportunity's that I have. I would also like to thank my family and friends who for always having my back and helping me make this decision, my Father especially for putting hard work into my blood and stressing that hard work will always get you where you want to be. Thank you to all of the coaches who believed in my ability and gave me the opportunity to play at the next level, the relationships I built throughout this process will always be close to my heart. I would also like to thank the SMU coaching staff and support for recruiting me and giving me this amazing opportunity.
