Buechele Appreciation Thread

Post by SmooBoy »

Other than the early INT, he was solid. We had a couple balls dropped and he made a couple poor throws. But I liked what I saw. Excited to see him grow and perform as a Mustang.

I definitely enjoyed his play, nice crisp, strong armed throws. I still think that early INT was tipped just a hair at the line and also, after the INT the player's knee went down, should not have been that catastrophic.

After that, he was solid, had some tough catches that could have been made but wasnt, and one solid TD pass to the corner that should have been caught, but wasnt.

Only real misfire was that 4 and 2 play, the backshoulder was open and he was too cautious and missed the backshoulder short.

He looked solid and should only get better. Hopefully, he and Proche can get more on the same page going forward, He has to be targetted more.

/cheers

The speed at which he gets the ball out compared to last year is HUGE. Especially on bubble screens and similar plays it is giving our receivers an extra half a second to turn the ball up field.

Nice to watch knowing tossing (and catching) the rock would not be an issue.

Well, he is still upright and has his brain intact....for a while there it was questionable whether that would be the case.

Buechele did his job...kept his cool...he was a LEADER.

Nicely done, sir.

Yeah, what I love is his composure and accuracy and very comfortable in a hurry up.

What's awesome is we have 2 years with him. And Granson. And Stephens. And Reggie. And James.

Bump. Week two. Kudos on a fantastic game and being a Mustang. What a perfectly pretty long ball he threw. All night. The kid is a winner.

Nice thread bump. Gotta love this kid as an SMU QB, Strong Arm, great decisions, no turnovers.

What an upgrade from last year. I look forward to what he can do.
