You have managed to put together a home schedule that not even Sun Belt teams would envy. Let alone alienating a loyal basketball fanbase the last two years. And then you set a deadline to purchase season tickets before this abomination that you call a schedule came out. You should be ashamed.

What the hell are these schools? Is this a damn joke? You pulled out a map, pointed to a random state...and then said "who is the 6th or 7th best team in this state?" Apparently SMU only plays 'state' schools now. What a joke.

The fans, the school, and most of all...THE PLAYERS deserve better. We are literally eliminated from NCAA tournament contention with this garbage and the season isn't even close to starting. Do your job

I didn’t take the bait and have ignored repeated calls to match my contribution from the year before. Uhm, there’s only 3-4 games that I’m interested in and I can buy 2 tickets for $500 for all 4 games.

I think if you ask Mr. Blum he seems to be keen on Georgia state as being a good opponent. They were in the tourney last year but got absolutely demolished by Houston.

I have no intention of signing up for tickets or even individual tickets until Jank is gone.

There are of course much better neutral-site games, and at Mich St for the ACC/Big Can’t Count Challenge. But Cameron tickets will rely on inertia and the ACC slate.

So it's pretty well known that Jank has to make at least the NIT to have a chance to keep his job, if not the NCAA tournament.
There are no quadrant one win opportunities with this non conference schedule.
Is Jank essentially waving the white flag?

My neighbor who moved here from Illinois is a big Illinois State fan and has followed Jank since his days there (with frosh PG Nic Moore) told me when Jank was made HC to expect him to dumb down the schedule, so at least he has been consistent in trying to get 20 wins and that NIT bid.
