Has there ever been a more dominant win in the history of our program? I definitely can't remember one in the last 30 years. Not sure if there were any before then.

I can't remember the last time it was neatly wrapped up by halftime, especially on the road.

There were some bloodbath wins over teams like Cal State-Northridge, but over a real team, that was the most dominant in a long while - the final score doesn't come close to telling the story.

I certainly don't recall a 41-0 SMU lead anytime in the last 30 years, even against I-AA teams.

What doesn't really show up in stats, is the play of our o-line. They are doing a heck of a good job. The big run Jones had was courtesy of a hole big enough to drive a truck through. Some pretty solid pass protection too.

Go Ponies!

42-0 vs Memphis 2011

52-0 vs SFA 2012

Note that Tyler Lavine was a 2 Star walk on. I anticipate his scholarship status will change by the beginning of next season.

Did I read that correctly? Did we not give up a sack against TCU OR USF?!

VERY NICE

O-line is certainly coming around.

I know nothing about Tyler Lavine. All I know is that thanks to the big lead, he got to play, and when the announcers said it was his first college football touchdown I literally teared up. Moments like that are why I love this game.

Anyone else wonder why Pierce and Lavine played ahead of TaMerik Williams and Ulysses Bentley? I assume Bentley is part of a numbers game with the redshirt rule, but Williams already has redshirted, hasn't he? Would not want to see him get lost in the rotation.
