Was a Fun Football Season!

We came out of nowhere, and we were in the conversation until the next to last week of the whole damn season.

I am proud of this team, they did good.

No hate for the coaches or players, we did the best we could.

Now that is not just the way to go here. Be humble in your loss, we won a couple of games we maybe should have lost.

Navy has 1 AAC loss -- anything but "trash" -- and lots of teams struggle against that goofy offense - that's why Navy runs it.

All of that said, Shane is the best deep ball thrower in the country. And he flat out missed on 5 or 6 throws. Navy was pressing us tight and letting us get behind. The deep ball is what was open. We just couldn't hit it.

This game we missed having an elite offensive line and a good pass catching RB. It happens. It was predictable.

We are a year ahead of schedule. We have over achieved to a certain extent this year. Enjoy it, root the team on, and know that next year will get even better.

Worst aspect for me: we played our arses off and showed well in Memphis, looked poor vs ECU, and totally got out- hustled and physically whipped against Navy...who pretty much owns us. Please, Rick. No more Service AcademyΓÇÖs. They have too little talent but way too much heart.
