no idea...I just remember him posting after a TCU win a few years ago. He was rapturous.

I'd expect FAU to be bummed to be playing in their home stadium rather than somewhere better after winning CUSA. And the coach-has-already-left-for-his-new-team situation does not help.

On the other hand, they've been in the potentially-disappointed-conference-champion role before, two years ago, and they absolutely demolished Akron in the Mouse Mouth Bowl. On the other other hand, though, Akron was a very mediocre 7-7 and Kiffin had his team believing in him then.

SMU will be motivated to win this and get ranked. Taking all of this into account, I'm going to talk myself into 45-28, SMU.
