A good problem to have. I wonder who sonny has had on his short list during all of the offensive success this year.

Not concerned. Sonny's phone is probably ringing off the hook right now.
Just think of all the players who are coming back next season on offense. Great scenario to walk into for a top level OC.

Good for Lashlee, he'll be a G5 head coach in a couple years if he can fix Miami's offense.

Re: Need a new OC
Hopefully we bring in another OC with a power running background. Sonny said that was something really important he learned at TCU, and with the OL improving I don't want us to abandon that part of the game.
Running the ball and physical practices were what attracted Lashlee and Kane in the first place. Whomever we hire will be a strong tell on whether or not that philosophy continues moving forward...

Add the projected good news from tomorrow and I think a lot of quality coaches would love to be OC at SMU. I think getting our coordinators poached is great news as it is the first time since I have been a fan (1999) that we have lost coaches in football due to excellence.

Re: Need a new OC
A realistic option is Tony Franklin who is OC at Middle Tennessee. After 4 straight strong years they took a step back this year but he was Dykes OC at Louisiana Tech and was his first hire at Cal
