Not sure I agree with that other than the fact they are basketball only. With or without Marshall at the helm, WSU has always focused on hoops and I have no doubt they will invest in a quality replacement for Marshall assuming it comes to that. With UGone out, I do wish we had only 10 hoops members and could play everyone twice for an 18 game conference schedule, leaving more opportunities for non-conference scheduling.

I am sure the AD will talk to the players and take their feedback into account.

Marshall just needs to publicly apologize and admit to some missteps as head coach.

Maybe some sensitivity training.

Wichita State coach Gregg Marshall has resigned following an internal investigation into allegations of physical and verbal abuse, the school announced Tuesday.

The school and Marshall agreed to a contract settlement of $7.75 million to be paid over six years.
