ECU whipped Temple on the road last week, 28-3. Big game for the Mustangs, need to finish strong. Last season SMU started 8-0, then went into a late season dive, finishing 2-3. This year started 5-0 and we are 2-2 in our last 4 games. Our defense looked hapless against the Pirates offense last season and all of those weapons return, including that midget receiver. It will be the Pirates senior day, let's hope, the week off gave us a chance to hit the reset button. Shane doesn't seem to fare well in poor weather conditions, the early forecast for Greenville, 60 degrees, cloudy, 20% chance of rain with very little wind. Let's have your predictions!

EC would have beaten Tulsa but for a ridiculously bad referee call. They could be more than we can handle during our November Malaise. EC beats us 42-27.

Why the eye roll? Our only two losses this year have been to current Top 25 teams. We spent most of the season in the poll, and would return to the rankings with a win.

Was halfway tempted to drive down there on Saturday, but I'm afraid they wouldn't let me back into Virginia or NC would close the stadium one hour before the game.
