I had the same thought and now I begin to wonder whether this team is going to be able to finish this season if the dominoes continue to fall. This late in the season, more and more games are being cancelled rather than postponed. This will be our 5th postponement with only one made up so far. Contact tracing is one thing, but if Covid spreads among the players, it could become a challenge to even field a team. As far as I know, most postponements in college basketball have been due to contact tracing rather than players becoming infected but with privacy issues, we don't really know.

We did a pretty good job with football but it sure seems like we are letting our guard down with basketball and some other sports.

it has been a pretty crazy past few seasons for basketball and our tournament chances. First the injuries and sanctions. Then the tournament was canceled last season. Now we are firmly on the bubble and fighting through not having our coach at five-on-five practices and now it might be weather or some lax quarantine protocols finally doing us in.

Maybe next season things will finally be right for us to get back to the tournament (if we don't make it this season).
