More Moores?

Post by DC-Pony »

Anyone hear recent news on both Richard Moore’s recovery status AND anything about the level of interest his brother, Dimitri, has to transfer to SMU? Dimitri in the portal from Vanderbilt following really strong years as inside LB there.

This is the only fairly recent thing I’ve found on Dimitri. https://www.google.com/amp/s/caneswarni ... moore/amp/

Richard is on the roster, so fingers are crossed. If he comes back in his former form, our Moore is arguably SMU's best defensive player. Would be a huge get for the 2021 team.

So yeah, I'm in favor of getting another Moore is one is available!

I heard a mention of Dmitri a couple of months ago, but nothing since, so I assumed there was nothing to it. If he's anything like Richard, bring him on!

I guess we'll have to see how his knee fares, but whether it's a high impact player in the middle of the defense, or if it's just all the experience, leadership and quality depth to groom some of the younger guys, I can't help but believe the D just got another step better.

Have we ever had a player who was 25?
Even Margus Hunt was 24 when he finished, wasn't he?

We had a DL on my team that had completed a stint in the Marines and come back to college. I believe he was 26 but I could be wrong. My years of use of my brain do not allow me to recall his name.
