I would be very happy with those predictions. SMU in the NCAA tournament and 4 other AAC teams in as well would be an amazing year for this conference and just what we need moving forward without UConn.

Will be a real test of Jank & Co's coaching abilities, so many on this board will assume this season is going to be a miserable failure. Not that I'm a Jank lover, but I do think he did a nice job rebuilding the roster and hope he succeeds

I don't know enough about the talent of the former or current players to make a judgment so I will take your word for it that the players are better this year. What I do know is that regardless of the player talent level SMU basketball overall got worse because it did not make the one change absolutely necessary to improve.

I tend to agree that, at least on paper, this roster looks to be much improved compared to last year. We'll see but I'm cautiously optimistic about what this team might do this year.
