Walk-on tryouts

Post by Charleston Pony »

Interesting that with 14 guys already on the roster, the staff is looking for more. I assume they want at least 15 guys so even with injuries they can always run full practices. Who will be this year's "fan favorite"? Never know when a "diamond in the rough" might turn up because there will be plenty of 'ships available next year.

It is imperative to have enough players available to be able to have five-on-five practices.

Makes sense to add a player or two if possible especially with the added risk of COVID, etc.

Otherwise you might still have a couple years of eligibility remaining?
