MBB v Loyola Marymount Game Thread
I hope the Lions crush us and we lose 20 straight. We need a new coach and see no other way it happens.
Re: MBB v Loyola Marymount Game Thread
Huh ... I'd rather see us win 20 straight - start with today.

agree, plus that is probably the only way we will get a new bball coach and perhaps a new a.d. as well.mustangxc wrote:I hope the Lions crush us and we lose 20 straight. We need a new coach and see no other way it happens.

I will always pull for our guys to win every game no matter who we are playing. Would love for Jank and this team to turn it on and surprise all of us the rest of this season and beyond...just don't see it happening based on what I've seen so far.
Re: MBB v Loyola Marymount Game Thread
I agree with your statement CP. My issue is that we will win just enough to do nothing and that is slowly killing the program. We need decisive action.

Mustangs looking pretty good against a smaller team...does that sound familiar? Young getting valuable minutes with Clark out and Nutall feeling it tonight. Off to an early double digit lead
Re: MBB v Loyola Marymount Game Thread
Is Stefan McClure also on Jank’s staff?
Re: MBB v Loyola Marymount Game Thread
I think we look terrible against a mediocre mid-major. What a train wreck!
Re: MBB v Loyola Marymount Game Thread
Jahmar Young looks solid. Great to see his progress.

Ponies up by only 7 after hitting 7-9 threes! Young has been a pleasant surprise but LMU had no starter over 6'6' so he should be a factor in this kind of game. Encouraging, for sure. Three Mustangs in double figures in the 1st half

Young is filling up the stat sheet with 11 points on 5-6 FGs and 1-2 FTs. Also had 5 rebounds to lead the team including 2 offensive boards. He added an assist and a block for a career game...all accomplished in the 1st half!

Bandoumel throwing up brick after brick just doesn't need to be jacking threes

This team tends to live and die by the three, even against smaller opponents. K.D. penetrating and dishing to Young for the flush is refreshing to see

When Michael Weathers touches the ball, we can always count on a drive and forced shot. Very aggressive out of control player pretty consistently with what little I've watched. Very aggressive defensively as well but I'm not sure his D offsets what he does to kill any offensive flow. I see the guys spreading the floor better but no screening
