Can anyone explain - or even defend - our current baseball uniforms?

They look like practice uniforms that weΓÇÖre forced to wear because our real uniforms got delayed in transit to the game. Small mustang logos. The red mustang outlined in blue - with no white trimming - presents very muted against the black.

They look amateur.

We left some of the classiest unis in college basketball hanging in our closet. Black? That's our community college look.

I hate the black unis. I wish they would take them out back and burn them. I have also noticed that we have been wearing every color uniform possible for home games except white this year. White needs to be our main home with a red out or blue out once a year.

I know the school made a concerted effort a few years back to reset the uniforms - both basketball and football - and basketball court to align with traditions of the school, including using accurate school colors. I thought that was a good move and restored a very competent and classy look to our teams.

What we've done with football uniforms has been, I think, very thoughtful, classy, and cool. We have our classic SMU uniforms that seem to universally be appreciated nation-wide. And, we've supplemented those with the Dallas unis which are also spectacular. Great all around on our football uniforms.

We've lost our way with our basketball uniforms. Though, it is pretty easy to correct that. I hope we will do so.
