I recall that our cafeteria food was pretty good at SMU back in the dark ages. Of course that was in contrast to my high school food which was pretty much inedible.
While we laugh (and should), you would be amazed how important that is to kids today. Dorm food at A&M is a nightmare in several cafeterias, and outstanding at others. Kids vote with their feet and tummies.

Ditto. I remember friends complaining about the cafeteria food, but compared to the high school food I remember, the cafeteria food at SMU was five-star gourmet grub.

Agreed. While i think itΓÇÖs comical that NTSU would proudly billboard this, i also think SMU should provide top quality food to its students.
In my experience on both campuses, SMUΓÇÖs food was light years better than A&MΓÇÖs. A&M just has 1,000 more variety and options all over campus. But this would have been in the 2001-2005 timeframe that I was eating campus food at either.
