Do we want a chance to repeat the win over Tulsa, or avenge the loss to Wichita State?

Would have liked a shot at Wichita State to avenge that loss but Tulsa it is. Tall order to beat them 3 times this season.

I would have preferred to face Wichita State as we needed an additional Quad 2 win. Tulsa will not be easy and does nothing to help build our resume. At this point we have to beat Tulsa and Memphis.

Memphis has to beat UCF, a much better team than Tulsa, I would say don't hand Memphis the W just yet, just like we haven't moved on to the semis yet.

A quad two vs quad three win does little to move the needle at this point. Every team on either side of the bubble is playing in tournaments, many will get knocked out early. We just need to keep winning. A W with a chance to play another day is biggest needle mover now.

With another Q2 win, we still are in the conversation if we lost to Memphis (although not probable), and a win over Memphis makes us a lock.

A Q3 win won't give us a bump at all compared to the teams like Xavier who already lost. It won't move us forward, and others could still pass us. If we beat Tulsa, by the time we get to the Memphis game I expect us to be 3 or 4 teams outside of the "last 4 in", and a Memphis win will be required.

We absolutely wanted WSU to win. And we absolutely want Memphis to win their game against UCF, because beating UCF wouldn't do enough on the resume and would force us to win the title.

I will say, if Houston loses to Cincinnati, then I wouldn't mind UCF beating Memphis. At that point we have to win the tournament, but we'd have a very clear path to the title.
