Building a nice herd!

Post by BUS »

Went out to Mineola on Thursday and return to find three ut transfers as well as a Juco DT. How is SMU ranking on a Transfer Class? I am getting excited about next year. We knew the O would be pretty good and now a lot of D help.

It is a good time to be a Mustang. We keep this up, bring back Dallas fans and we will be ROCKING again.

Serious... With then NIL thing and being in Dallas, I just don't like to conference and do not know we have the right people working on that.

Go Mustangs.

A little more big D line depth would be nice. Need to rotate all game.

Speaking of NIL, here comes the NCAA and does anyone want to make a bet on who they will look at 1st in Texas?

Psst...hey NCAA, may want to discreetly look down the road in Austin or perhaps College Station, maybe some of the other "Power 5", just sayin'...

They'll target us or TCU or Baylor and said that they cleaned things up in Texas. UT has a perpetual pass from the NCAA.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

DTX Sport Collective

Be a part of the LEGAL sport Collective. I am not a BMD so I help with what I can.

I have the email around somewhere.

Our NIL operations follow the rules, so no issues.

The NCAA clarification means that it will prevent kids from running up bids on an individual basis, but there is nothing wrong with a set amount that an NIL collective is willing to sponsor anyone who transfers. I am not directly involved with anything, but that would be my guess in how most NIL organizations will act moving forward in order to stay compliant.

The stuff TCU and Sonny were doing with our roster would certainly have violated the new rules.
