not a single Pony gets mentioned, and looking at the list it's tough to argue that Bhop deserved consideration. Any point guard with a 1:1 assist:turnover ratio doesn't deserve consideration, even if he was our leading scorer.
Let's just hope that they guys work hard and next year we have a name or two on this list. Would love to see Derrick Roberts on that all-newcomer team.

Hopkins should have been a second teamer, probably in front of Parker whose team got swept by SMU and finished lower. Maybe Hopkins and the team can use this as some added motivation in the tournament. Being objective is nice, but who is gonna support our players if we dont? Hopkins deserved it just as much as anybody on that second team.

That's true. On overall talent, Hop deserved to be on the second team, at least. But you have to remember, the voters didn't get to see every game. They can read articles and stat sheets, but there were a few games in there when we were just awful, and if those are the games some voters saw, that might explain the snub. Had all the voters seen Hop play Rice Saturday night, he might have made the first team.
