Nice job by PonyFans.com with the new story on your homepage previewing the WAC tournament. Kris Lowe is a real stand-up guy with the way he handled the loss to Rice. He made a mistake -- he knew it and everyone there knew it, but the way he addressed it in your story speaks volumes about his character. I also like the way he doesn't seem ready to accept the team's seed in the tournament, how he said he and his teammates plan to be in Fresno through the end of the tournament.
Nice job, PF.com.
And GO PONIES!
Great story!

You take Lowe's comments from your story and put them with Isham's and Castro's comments from Tuesday's DMN, and it sounds like a team that almost is expecting to win, not just hoping to "play well" or somesuch. Good spirit shown by the team -- I assume some of the credit for that has to go to Coach Lineburg and his staff.

Say, just for the sake of argument, that the Ponies catch fire and win the WAC tournament and make the NCAAs. I assume Lineburg would get the job, and would keep Crawford and Brickey on as assistants. Would his added assistant coach have to be a local recruiting machine, or do Crawford and Brickey have the reputation and charisma to fill that roll?
Great story, webguys.
