Newest CBS Bowl projections
SMU get zero bowls while Tulane vs USC in Cotton Bowl. Wth! Even UNT getting a bid. Tough times!

We will win out with PS starting
Re: Newest CBS Bowl projections
Well, this team will certainly have to play better to make a bowl. The defense against UC gives me some hope.

Tulane vs. USC in the Cotton Bowl is one of the funniest things I have ever seen.
We will get our wins and should certainly be able to secure the Frisco Bowl. Don't worry.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I'm thinking 5-7. Maybe PS changes everything but I do see us beating Tulsa and USF. I think we lose to Houston, Tulane and Memphis. Sorry. Maybe PS starting gets us a sneaky win against Houston or Memphis.

Our 2 weakest opponents & our 1 strongest opponent are all road games which arguably is the perfect setup to go 6-6
I say the odds are in our favor that we win at least 1 of the Coog/Memphis games.
I also think if the Memphis game determines our Bowl fate, odds are we win that specific game.
The question is, does 6-6 guarantee us a Bowl Game?

I think it would guarantee us the frisco bowl as most teams would decline it. I could see a rematch with NTCC or something assuming they're bowl eligible.

Moving in the right direction... also 15 minutes from my house so I'll be there though I hope we do better
Re: Newest CBS Bowl projections
Please, no Fenway Bowl...that was expensive getting ready last year and having to back out at last minute.
Re: Newest CBS Bowl projections
These stupid predictions. Bowl options are generally more limited that some of humanity realizes:

Yes, predictions are all over the place at the moment and not all are grounded in reality.
However, I saw one prediction that's unlikely (but very interesting). SMU vs. Missouri in the Cheez-It Bowl (Phoenix) on 12/27. If by chance that happened, I'd be there!

I will be there (x2) if it is so....

Mid-season bowl predictions are as inaccurate as a "stars" rating system for 17 year old kids and most preseason polls
