Mustangs Defeat North Texas 64-46

DALLAS, Texas (SMU) – SMU tallied its seventh straight win with a 64-46 victory over North Texas at Moody Coliseum Wednesday. The Mustangs are 8-2 on the season and have the program's longest winning streak since 2013-14.

Holding a 28-24 halftime advantage, SMU outscored the Mean Green 25-10 in the third quarter and carrying a 19-point cushion into the final period. Ella Brow's layup increased the gap to eight at 28-16, with 6:22 remaining before intermission. The Mustangs failed to score the rest of the way and saw their margin trimmed to seven with 4:22 remaining.

A triple at the 46 second mark ended a stretch of three and a half scoreless minutes by North Texas and getting the guest within two possessions, 28-24 at the half.

Honored in a pregame ceremony for reaching the 1,000-point plateau, the Cypress, Texas, native facilitated the offense and set a school record with 12 assists.
