Hey guys, long time.

Just wanted everyone to know my friend and former long time SMU trainer Cash Birdwell passed away today. RIP legend. I'll try to post funeral information whenever that becomes available.

He joined SMU my senior year, '68. He was an icon on the Hilltop and in the Southwest Conference.

RIP, Cash.

Actually I believe Cash only
filled in for Eddie Lane in 68 while Eddie took a year off to be a trainer for USA in the Olympics. Then Eddie came back until he retired and then Cash came back. At least that is for football. I have no idea if Cash was active with any of the other sports.

10 o'clock on a Wednesday, and I don't know that anyone else could have gotten a seat.
Beautiful service, with two mustang pastors speaking the gospel of Jesus' love.
Too many people to name but a great feeling of love from the mustang nation.

Thank you Cash.

God's peace to the family.

It was all that. A beloved man, who poured into a number of people that we knew or watched on Saturday.

The service was exceptional, as George shared.

Pax Christi, Soli Deo Gloria.
