Tough draw!

I watched Maryland dump Duke this afternoon. Great game, great win for the Terps. Their reward? UTEP in the first round! I haven't seen UTEP play in a couple of years, but if they're as tough as some of you have written .... that's hardly a just reward for the Terps' run through the ACC Tournament.

Speaking of the brackets, how did Duke score a #1 seed? They're obviously very good, but based on what I saw of the Big 12 final, Oklahoma State is better. This reeks of Vitale-like favoritism.

Duke should be a #1, St Joes shouldn’t. I think Okie St could win it all. I’m really surprised that UTEP got in. Congrats to the Miners, unfortunately they get the Terps. The invite is good for the WAC but UTEP is now a lightning rod for being the last in. BTW, watch out for Louisville and Washington.

You like Louisville? I wrote them off when I heard that they got steamrolled by the little froggies. Have they bounced back?

No, they are struggling but still very talented (Garcia and Dean) and we all know Pitino can coach. They are dangerous in my opinion.
