Last year, it was Rashee Rice, Tanner Mordecai, Elijah Chatman and Jimmy Phillips.

Predictions for this year? I don't know if Coach Lashlee is likely to name a young guy like Preston Stone, so I'll guess:

Justin Osborne
Jordan Kerley
Bryan Massey

Yes, they're voted by the players but the coaches (or maybe just Lashlee) have to sign off, I assume.

Having never met the man, and therefore knowing nothing about him beyond what is said personally, I'd guess Justin Osborne might be in the conversation. Seasoned veteran, reportedly well-liked, etc.

For what it's worth, the players reportedly headed to AAC media days are Elijah Chatman, Marcus Bryant, DeVere Levelston and Tyler Lavine.

Doesn't mean they're the captains, but it does suggest they are viewed by coaches as team leaders, etc.
