I thought he performed well in preseason so my guess is that he will get picked up by someone.

Everything I had read indicated that Buechele had a terrific preseason camp, enough so that some KC beat writer predicted he would beat out Gabbert for the backup role, citing Buechele's performance, younger age and lower salary.
If nobody else grabs him, I would assume KC will bring him back on the practice squad.
