An optimistic prediction: 9-3. Losses to TCU, UO, and one AAC opponent. Realistically
8-4. 2 losses in conference. Happy with either result. 2024 is our year Imo.

I see six tough games on the schedule OU, TCU, ECU , Tulsa, Temple and Memphis. All but one are road games. So, we could go 8-4. However, I think we only lose one of those games and go 12-1, win the AAC championship game if there is one. And then play on New Year's Day. We won't get an invite to the championship 4 unless we run the table and even then, probably won't unless AAC teams, OU, and TCU play really well after playing us. I'd love for the Frogs to go 12-1 with us as their only loss.

Unless/until these guys win at OU and/or TCU, I see a 9-3 regular season and 10-4 finish. Still hoping for that "dream season" that I always hope for this time of year, but just too many tough games on the schedule to predict any better than that.

I will stick with my pre-season prediction. This team will lose one conference game but will play against Tulane in the AAC Championship game. Not sure we will win that one but we will win one post season game to finish 10-4 and have some momentum going into ACC play where we will need a lot of NIL roster help to be competitive.

I'm all in for the Stone Age - watched his HS highlights today.

This offense is loaded for bear and clearly looks like the best we have had since the 80s. I did a little digging and among the imagined starters there are 5-4* and 8-3* Average rating 88.36 And these are all veterans with multiple starts here, or at previous schools. 2nd wave not a big drop off, including a few more 4*s. It is amazing how this team has been transformed.

Defense is not quite as impressive in the ratings, but I suspect they will be much improved from last year, just because of quality depth - especially in the DBs. Def 2 4*, 8 3*, and 1 2* - avg rating 86.36.

All based on HS ratings. I like what I see. Everything depends on a Defense that is drastically better than last year. We should be able to outscore everyone. But can we stop, or slow down our opponents?

11-1 regular season. I believe we will beat either OU or TCU, but likely not both. But that would be awesome. Each game has its own challenges, but Memphis and ECU are probably the toughest in conference. If we get the ACC invite, we will get everyone's very best game.

12-1 - A victory in the AAC championship over whatever sacrificial lamb they serve up to us.

13-1 A victory in Bowl or playoff - wherever we are sent. This season will be truly BLESSED!

We will knock on the Playoff championship door this year, next year we will kick it in. I think that is a paraphrase of Bum Phillips.

I think we have the roster to compete with OU.TCU this season. But honestly, I don't care. This team with this roster should win conference. 11-2 or 10-3 with a win in the conference championship game. This feels absurd to say, but I would be a little disappointed if we don't run the table in conference play.
