Should be great weather, so that's one of the frequently used excuses crossed off the list.

8pm kick means Thurston and Lovey must get home for hot toddies before early bed. Expect a strong-ish crowd at kick. Half of home fans exit by start of 4th Q. We have a 45+ year sample size.

Did you see Rice announced 21K?

Looked like a little over half that.

That "crowd" at Rice would have looked good in Ford Stadium

I was proud of the Mustang presence. We brought a lot of fans to Houston, and we were loud.

There has been a lot of people talking about the Rice cheerleaders, AKA announcers for that game.
What's surprising and disappointing, the ESPNU cameras never really did close ups, nor, did they mention the amount of fans we had there.

Looking at seat availability only I would suspect 28,000

Based on the game replays, I'm guessing Rice maybe had one camcorder total there for the game. So they probably couldn't spare that to point towards the West side of the stadium.

Someone said Highland Park has a home playoff game at 7:00, hopefully many of those people, will make it over in the second half.

The HP crowd will leave the Scotties game at halftime so they can get over to Ford in time to leave the Mustangs game at halftime.
