Like Coach Lanier's comments about the cold shooting especially in the opener that the guys admitted to having "1st game jitters" but that's no excuse for not playing intense defense. The defensive intensity really showed against WIU with all the turnovers, disruptions and speeding WIU up and taking them out of their comfort zone. We appear to have a deep enough backcourt to sustain that kind of pressure for 40 minutes
