Sure hope R.J. Maryland is OK. That hit looked scary.

Re: The elephant in the room
Head coach Rhett Lashlee said after the game that he has no update until some imaging is done Sunday or Monday on Maryland's knee.

Re: The elephant in the room
Yeah, this really sucks, for him and the team. I'll get into it in my preview of the Duke game.
Great thing for RJ is that he has an awesome support system. I had the pleasure of spending time with the Maryland family at pregame events at both of the last two bowl games and they are incredible people.

This genuinely sucks.
Good news? He'll be back next year.

I'm a little surprised the betting markets haven't moved even a half point.

IΓÇÖm so sorry to see this. I love watching him play. Prayers for a complete recovery.
Re: The elephant in the room
That's a silver lining, although maybe more for us as PonyFans than for him. Didn't he say he wanted to go pro after this season? Selfishly, I'm thrilled if he gives us another year, but in the big picture, I want him healthy and to pursue his personal and professional goals when he feels the time is right.leopold wrote:This genuinely sucks.

Brutal hit. Hope his recovery goes well.
