Remember the American?

Post by PonyTales »

What a difference a year makes. We're winning in one of the top conferences in the country, in the top 10, possibly headed to the College Football Playoff.

Meanwhile, Tulsa fired coach Kevin Wilson after getting smoked yesterday by USF. Tulsa is the 6th AAC job open this season, along with those at Charlotte, Rice, Temple, East Carolina and FAU.

Using Notre Dame as a measuring stick, I think the odds are we would blow out the teams in the American. ND played Louisville, Stanford, Florida State, Virginia at home, while we played them all away except for Florida State. We both won those games handily except for Louisville, and ND blew out both Navy and Army. Tulane is playing really well right now and they would be the toughest challenger imo, but we cut through that league like a hot knife thru butter last year, and this year's team is a whole new level.
