The already-deep SMU tight ends room got a little deeper when James Larson announced his commitment to transfer from Connecticut to SMU. The 6-5, 245-pounder from Lake Charles, Illinois, was a freshman last year at UConn and arrives in Dallas with four years of eligibility remaining.
