I was planning to watch live until my wife reminded me that we will be at our oldest daughterΓÇÖs first scouting camp out, in the Alps (super cold for a TX boy), will be on a media blackout and watching DVR...
Looking forward to a big win, PONY UP!!!
Finally, a true and clear "humble-brag ...

Re: SMU applications
Any of you have recent experience with kids or other relatives applying to SMU?
My daughter is applying. Her friend with a 1500 SAT is applying because sheΓÇÖs heard about big merit scholarships.
A friend from SugarlandΓÇÖs kid didnΓÇÖt get into SMU for this fall so sheΓÇÖs headed to TCU. Turned ...

Re: Dixon leaving Frogs for UCLA (home state)
If youΓÇÖre a TCU alum, current player or prospect, how do you buy DixonΓÇÖs pitch that he loves his job and plans to be around?
I'm not one of those, but I will say that if I'm pulling down $3,43,000 per year (that's $9,408 a day) like Dixon does, I would sorta love my job and plan to be around ...

That's positioning yourself for an upgrade .
One Trick, you're up on sports, so surely you know that tCU was able to argue that 10 million down to just 1 million? Pitt was apparently more than willing to see him go.

Re: Jank is stealing money from SMU - heΓÇÖs gotta go
He has singlehandedly destroyed this program. He does not care about recruiting. As bad as this year has been, it will only get worse if he isnΓÇÖt fired. DonΓÇÖt believe me? Look at our last two recruiting classes (2018 and 19)ΓÇö they are mediocre at best. Also that 2017 class featured Chargois ...

Re: We can't wait until March to fire Jank
Why would Hoiberg come here when he can get any P5 job he wants. I see him at Texas and Shaka comes here in reality.
Agree with our administration. We have a bunch of yes men. Hart needs to go or we will just hire another vanilla Jank yes man. OR, Jank won't even be fired.
Yeah, we sure need ...

McBlunt will go off at least 5 more games this season, my guess is at least once against USF.
I also see us winning 3 more.
"This is the AAC, not the AAC." Thanks for clearing that up. Had always wondered about it.

Re: wasn't good enough to play at SMU...but
What about the guys who are in the NFL that were good enough to play at SMU and we have nothing to show for it other than a few Hawaii bowl wins? We have over 20 players that played over the last few years that are in the NFL.

Re: Matt Rhule to NY Jets??
He's not going. Has officially told his assistant coaches that he's staying. He says that he loves Baylor too much. Plus the Jets didn't offer him the job, which may have had something to do with his decision.

But add another word: happened. They were actually in a bowl. I've always wondered whether I'd rather my team miss a b owl completely, or get in one by the skin of our teeth, and get mauled, or embarrassed. They got embarrassed, but they won a bowl game.
