Hope you pony boys dont mind but I have kinda adopted SMU as my CFB team. I'm a Providence College guy that roots for TAMU but after reading the rise and fall and the re-rise of SMU I kinda have a small place in my heart for them.

Also, the whole Louisville and Cincinnati is more rumor rubbish out of the Big12. Notre Dame will save the Big East. BYU will join the Big East and AFA will be squeezed

I wasn't sure. It dosnt have the blogger reporter feel, but I think the reporter is a little light on knowledge of the situation.

Playing at Cowboys stadium is cool but its not going to pull in more TV sets
I was more referring to the fact that half of the league is west of the Mississippi and should not always have to travel East to play a championship game, nor should those east have to travel west every year. Who knows ...

The Big East Tournament is the Second highest grossing brand in college sports, the first is the NCAA tourny.
The Big East would be wise to have a rotating championship game between Gillette Stadium {home of the Patriots} at 25 mins away from the conference headquarters, and Jerry World in Dallas ...

I think a lot of you are right on. As far a stronger football but weaker bball, I think you will see a few other teams get into the mix for bball. One team that keeps getting brought up is Memphis.
