The plan for the 6-7 Thedford kid is to redshirt him and develop him into a DE. By 2016 season you could have a 6-7, 260 DE ready to contribute. I don't think they are really all that concerned about 2015-they building a program by projecting players into the future. Anyway, there are other options ...
