I seriously doubt TCU would ever release him from his scholarship to play for SMU. Most schools have the policy not to releasea player from a scholarship unless he's going to play for a school that the former school isn't scheduled to play.
I know that kept Shaud Williams from transferring to ...

I don't believe TCU is near as dumb as some believe. TCU after 3 moves had to make a long term decision. Despite what some of you may believe there will likely be more changes in conference affiliations 5-6 years from now and they most likely will adversely affect CUSA in the East. I for one do not ...

Doubt it. James had a lot of personal issues off the field that he's been dealing with since he arrived at TCU, and his heart has never really seemed to be in it. He was 4th on the depth chart going into fall practice. The kid had alot of talent, but he couldn't make the commitment. Hopefully he can ...

Maybe we'll just stick with playing 1 song and then we'd sound as good as the SMU band.

Otto,
I respect your position and candor. However, your negativity bothers me. Yes, Watkins does a fine job writing an article once a week. Our expectations are so low that WE DO NOT EXPECT MORE. In Austin, the Austin-American Statesman cover UT everyday. I do not even know who is going to start ...

Hobbs is #1, but Merrill will get his share of the carries too. Merrill strained his hamstring in fall practice, which is why he was really limited in the first game.
He wasn't hurt in the wreck at all though, so as long as the hamstring is fine, he should play. I wouldn't be surprised for Hobbs ...

We have also had our biggest number of people to apply ever in the history of the school in the past 3 years. You are forgetting a huge point in that statistic, however. TCU has a lot of bone heads apply because everyone has the impression it is easy to get in to TCU. Most of those boneheads will ...
Re: Tye Gunn
Anyone know what the injury was that put him on the shelf last year?
He sure didn't show any lingering after-effects against NW. He looked extremely good.
He tore his knee ligaments (most of them from what I remember) two years ago. Last year he seperated his shoulder, came back from that and ...

Thanks froggie. You know of course that next week we are going to do all we know how to do to upset you, but come the week after that here's hoping you give our humble Tech friends a good old fashion trouncing. Mean while froggies, batten down your hatches...the Mustangs are coming!
