Re: I hate the CFP committee

Re: Tcu or Houston?

I wonΓÇÖt call it rooting for UH but I was certainly laughing at tcu.

LetΓÇÖs hope Willie Fritz never loses his mind and takes the tcu job. Substance over style. Cougs will run the lil 12 next year and beyond. HeΓÇÖs really good at his job. UH will finish much differently than it started the year

Re: Sonny Dykes

Sonny spent fall of 2017 learning how Patterson built a program while Jeff Traylor continued laying a foundation at SMU to cornball MorrisΓÇÖs credit. Morris went to Arkansas, SMU made a mistake by not hiring Traylor, but letΓÇÖs not forget facts. Sonny built nothing. Still hasnΓÇÖt. Probably never ...

Re: Josh McCown

Art Briles and Chad Morris were running gimmicky high school offenses when Josh was a college player. The college game was full of geniuses and wizards 'running the ball, playing good defense and hoping to win it in the 4th quarter.' The idea of building an offense around the athletes on campus was ...

Re: Marketing Idea: The stache is back

Nice.

I will have a duster Saturday. I had the fortune of some candid conversations with Mason over the years. In short, he's great. Best of luck to him over the next 10 games. I hope he parlays it into a head coaching job somewhere after the season.

Re: Matt Davis - starting QB

Expectations are so low that if he "has a pretty good game" and can get the ball in the end zone against Baylor (20+ points) especially he will be a hero (shouldn't be too hard against a Bennett defense)

probably time to turn the page on the 'Bennett sucks' shots. Once Briles got the talent level ...

The social experiment of collisions with UCF safeties envisioning NFL futures and Johns Hopkins defenders envisioning med school is almost book-worthy.

Re: What does June mean by the level where we are?

socially awkward dude mailed it in the week after beating tcu in 2011 and came to Ford with a less than sellout crowd.

He knew then the job required a marketable coaching personality, not just upset wins.

I give him credit for snagging three and a half more years of paychecks out of it. In most ...

Not to split hairs, but feel like Georgia was a timeout and controlled play-call away from beating them in the SEC championship game last year.
