Honest Question: How Much $$ For A Big East Caliber Coach?

Why in the world has science not developed a way to foe someone on tapatalk? Can it be that hard?

Please foe me immediately if that is what you are referring to. You bring nothing to this board. If you can't talk SMU basketball in a intelligence matter, please go back to milking the cows.

Re: We need a "splash" hire for BB

There is concern. Its valid and they are so clueless, it had to be brought to their attention
Who is the they and the their in that sentence? I could not tell if it was the coaches or the young players. Also, who brought it to their attention? Not trying to be an [deleted], really could not tell ...

Re: The Best I have seen this year..

No big deal. I just think it is good to clarify things like that before they gain traction, or soon enough it will be commonly accepted fact on here that a recruit specifically said that the coaches lacked fire and passion.

Re: The Best I have seen this year..

I will tell you exactly where the fire, passion and lack of commitment comments come from. They come straight from recruits mouths.

Just to be clear, did any of the recruits say anything directly about fire, passion or lack of committment by the coaches? If not, then it is not really accurate to ...

Re: I support the Fighting Sues!!!

I can't speak for Cajuns or Creoles. They have to speak for themselves.
Only Sioux should use themselves and no one else.

You are not a Sioux are you? I read your posts and I got the impression that you are not, so I apologize if I am wrong.

If you let the Cajuns and Creoles to speak for ...

Knight Knock-Out Punch? / cusa.fans.com

David Miller who was an All-Conference player at SMU would have way to much class to speak to the newspapers and if he did it would be all positive.

I've interviewed him. Gimme a break.
And what do you mean "what Ira Terrell did?" He was honest, upbeat, positive -- as always. No attack on ...

Concerning quote.

UCLA has failed at both. "

Re: Looks like Reinebold takes the DC job in Canada

Tell me, which team does the Senior Manager of International Player Development coach for?
How would that strengthen your point? He coached NFL Europe for 4 years and was a NFL Senior Manager for less than year before going to Hawaii. Would you consider that "a number years out of coaching"?
To ...

Re: Looks like Reinebold takes the DC job in Canada

You read a lot more into the comment than I did.
His statement implied, "If you stay loyal to June, you'll reap rewards. See what happens when you you stick with June?" It's very clear. Jeff worked hard, wanted to be a HC, pursued an opportunity and earned it, and is headed back to the CFL. Trying ...

Re: Looks like Reinebold takes the DC job in Canada

The implication was that June or association with June had something to do with Jeff getting the job...not his near decade worth of CFL experience, contacts and previous position as HC in the CFL. I think that is a total misapplication of credit, at least in this case. June probably didn't make any ...

Re: Looks like Reinebold takes the DC job in Canada

Congratulations Jeff... Loyalty to June Jones is paying a big Head Coach dividend to you. SMU will be fine and a great network will be established to benefit SMU players who need an advantage that the CFL has to offer. I hope you take Colt Brennan up there and kick off a great season.

Re: PONYFANS.COM 2012 RECRUITING ROUNDUP

Thought this was an interesting quote from Lagasse. Guess he plans on getting a head start developing some chemistry.

Re: If we win the conference next year...

i want to see action on the recruiting trail - early and often. i want more of the staff to be involved, as opposed to just one or two guys.

5 years in and there are still some guys on this staff that I have no idea what it is they do.
I want to see more aggressive recruiting as well, but I do ...
