Because Tech gets their butts dinged by the Whorns and the Sooners annually. I'm sure Coach Mac thinks Leach is his best friend.

Uh, we've beaten OU 2 out of the last 3, but thanks for playing.

Sorry you think playing to the final whistle, with backups, and running the ball is classless ...

I miss college

That's a weekly feature on the Raiderpower board. Obviously, the selection is better some weeks than others.

There is a Tech Hotties thread that was up to 82 pages at last count.

Sounds like sand storm conditions. I was in one once in Lubbock. My blue car was completely brown. Those things are nasty. Maybe the sand will help us.

Won't be any dust blowing. Dust storms do occur, but only in the late winter/early spring when there has been no moisture and there are no ...

If you want to see a bad weather game in Lubbock, check this out

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=negx_XsHWRQ&NR=1

This game is from 1976, one of our best teams ever.

You can find highlights of the 1982 game at this site also, one that Pony fans will enjoy more.

Bring rain gear and don't worry about it. I can't remember the last time rain was a problem at a football game in Lubbock, and I've been a season ticket holder since 2002, been attending games since 1969.

I believe the game is scheduled to be televised by FSSW. If so, they aren't changing the ...

If you take the 114 route, watch your speed in the Olney/Seymour areas. Also be careful around Crosbyton. The cops know when we have a football game, or when the students are going to be on the road for holidays, end of semester, etc. and are generally out in force.

After learning my lesson the ...

At this point I think most Tech fans are not sure what we've got this year. The first game we looked great in spots (21-0 lead after the 1st qtr), but not so great in others (gave up a lot of yards passing, 18 penalties). But, after last week, it appears that EWU was a pretty decent team. Then, at ...

Lot's of great tailgating, mostly west and north of the stadium. You'll find plenty of Tech fans who will fix you up with free food and drinks.

just ignore those to the left and the right of the above mentioned fans who will tell you "SMU sucks," will hold signs saying "honk if SMU sucks" which ...

It's not a bad drive, assuming you have wheels that are highway ready. I wouldn't want to break down in Seymour either. We do it for every home game from the Mid-Cities area. Will take you about 5 1/2 hours if you go the 114 route, which is what I recommend.

Better reserve a hotel room first ...
