Re: C-USA guys in NBA draft
Elliot Williams was the guy from Memphis. Derrick Caracter was taken very late as well.

Re: Look who's working out for the Mavs...
Again, the Mavs had nothing to do with it. They got it right. The writer for ESPN Dallas screwed it up.

Yes, Bamba's uncle, Gallo, works for the Mavs. I believe he's their director of international scouting or something like that.
It wasn't the Mavs who made the mistake on Mo. It was ESPN Dallas. Matter of fact, in the video posted on the Mavs website, they had some very nice things to say about Mo.

Re: WR says he'll sit out 2010 season
Unfortunately, I heard that he was one of the "casualties" when the other names came out a few weeks ago. This really hurts since he has started all along and now we only have Al and Beasley who have had significant playing time in this offense. Fortunately, I think we have some guys who can step up ...

Re: Stadium upgrade?
The old board was Mitsubishi Diamondvision. The 10-year contract SMU had with Mitsubishi ended after this past season so it makes sense to get a new one.

Re: Stadium upgrade?
I drove by Ford earlier today and saw a crew working on the video board. The old board has been completely removed so there is a big hole where it used to be. Not sure what brand the new one will be, but if it isn't HD, they are pretty much wasting their money. Go ahead and invest in the current ...

Re: Have Academic Casualties...
If you subscribe to Rivals, you will see three names listed. It sucks for them based on potential and depth, but only one had a chance to start imo, and that wasn't a sure thing by any means. They will be missed on special teams mostly.

Re: Paul McCoy is gone!
So...is Mike Walker now our PG again? Is the kid from FL supposed to come in and play 30 miuntes a game right away while playing with several other newcomers? With the way Doh treats his freshmen, this has to be a recipe for disaster. I have to believe this is rock bottom...but then again it's Matt ...

Re: Emmanuel Sanders to Pittsburgh, 3rd round 18th Pick
I wonder if Phil had any input on Pittsburgh's decision to draft ES since Pitt and the Steelers share a complex. ES was a great player for Phil, and flourished under June. I have to believe that Phil would have nothing but positives to say about him. I'm sure the Steelers did plenty of homework on ...

Commit #4
Rivals reporting #4 is in the bag. Big-time pick up! Reported offer from a SEC school, a top MWC school and a couple of CUSA schools. Great news!
