How is he hurting himself if he has decided to go elsewhere?
I assume he has already talked to the coaches about his situation and did not hear the answers he wanted to hear. Also, is this a hint of other issues with Yannick that are not publicly known? Only Yannick and the coaches can answer that question.
So now he is using social media to air his complaints. What does that accomplish? Nothing.
Things are great when he is playing but when his playing time is cut, he has to deal with some adversity, is this how he handles it? Chances are he will lose a lot of respect from his teammates and it will not endure himself to the coaching staff. As someone stated earlier, this also could become a distraction to the team if it continues.
If he decides to transfer at the end of the year I assume interested coaches will be allowed to call Larry Brown to seek as much information as they can about Yannick. This issue will come up in those conversations.
I hope whatever the problem or problems Yannick is dealing with can be resolved and he remains a Mustang. We as fans can only speculate about this situation and offer our opinions.
There are always two sides to a story and the truth lies somewhere in the middle.
