Anyone know anything about this guy we have offered named Landry Fields from CA? Is he still interested in SMU?

I dont think Fields interest in us is that high, it looks more like he will stay on the west coast unless he gets an offer from a really prominent program.
Right now we have interest from several quality out-of-state players (2 more coming in to visit this weekend) but it feels like the coaches are waiting to hear something definitive from Sloan and Odufuwa before they chase those guys hard. Thats the downside of only having 2 scholarships to give.

Try not to choke on the Kool-Aid.

Landry Fields is going to Gonzaga this weekend on an official. Looks like we might be out of the running for this guy!

Talked to a guy who claims to know about them from his "sources" (which, to be fair, often prove to be pretty reliable). However, since I don't know anything concrete, I didn't want to pop on here and say they're both 7-foot-7, 290 pounds and score 61 points per game, because without having something to back it up, I'd sound a little silly .... don't you think?
